Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Routenza ("Routenza," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Routenza mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Routenza is a home maintenance management platform that helps users organize information about their properties, appliances, and maintenance tasks. The Service includes:

• AI-powered appliance scanning and data entry using computer vision
• Maintenance scheduling and task tracking
• Document and receipt storage
• A home health scoring system
• An AI-powered home advisor ("Ask Huddy")
• Property sharing and multi-user collaboration
• Calendar integration and data export

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Routenza, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Accounts and Registration

To access most features, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share your password with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@routenza.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that appear to be fraudulent.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or any non-public portions of the Service.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation with any person or entity.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including photos, documents, property information, and appliance data ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you grant Routenza a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim any ownership over your data.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to upload your User Content.
• Your User Content does not violate any law or infringe any third-party rights.
• You have obtained any necessary permissions from individuals who appear in photos you upload.

We are not responsible for any User Content and do not monitor it proactively, but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

The Service includes AI-powered features, including automated appliance identification from photos and the "Ask Huddy" AI home advisor. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI outputs are not professional advice. Nothing generated by the AI features constitutes professional advice — including legal, financial, structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or any other trade advice. AI-generated maintenance suggestions are informational only.
• AI outputs may contain errors. Appliance information extracted from photos, maintenance recommendations, and lifespan estimates may be inaccurate. Always verify AI-generated information independently before relying on it for safety-critical decisions.
• Consult qualified professionals. For any structural, safety, or complex repair work, always consult a licensed contractor or relevant professional. Do not rely solely on the app's AI for decisions that could affect the safety of your property or occupants.
• We are not liable for AI errors. Routenza is not liable for any damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated content, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or financial loss.

8. Amazon Affiliate Disclosure

Routenza participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Some product recommendations within the Service contain affiliate links. If you purchase a product through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate links do not influence our product recommendations. We only recommend products we believe may be relevant to your maintenance tasks.

9. Property Sharing and Collaboration

The Service allows you to invite other users to view or manage your properties. When you share a property:

• You are responsible for the sharing permissions you grant and the users you invite.
• Invited users may view or modify property data according to the permissions you set.
• You can revoke access at any time through the app's property sharing settings.
• Routenza is not liable for any data shared with or actions taken by users you invite.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and all content created by Routenza — including the software, design, trademarks, logos, and text — are owned by Routenza and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without our written permission.

The "Routenza" name and logo are trademarks of Routenza. All other trademarks mentioned in the Service are the property of their respective owners.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTENZA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
• ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
• ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT IN THE SERVICE, INCLUDING AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROUTENZA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Any errors in AI-generated content or maintenance recommendations.
• Unauthorized access to your account or data.
• Any interruptions or cessation of the Service.

IN NO EVENT WILL ROUTENZA'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO ROUTENZA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. To request account deletion, contact us at support@routenza.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, and 14) will survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

If you are located in the EEA or UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under those laws.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were most recently changed. Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
